With so many complex issues making news headlines the students have the opportunity to discuss topical world events.  In depth studies on issues such as global warming are considered in more detail thus offering the students a chance to understand ways that they can contribute in their own daily lives. In addition other items of international, national and local news are discussed. Everyone is encouraged to watch the news and read newspapers bringing items that are of particular interest to the sessions.

 

Visits to local places of interest are undertaken during these sessions.
