Courses are run from Monday to Friday, apart from Bank Holidays and the two weeks over Christmas and the New Year.
The courses are open to adults of 18 and over. We accept students for short courses over holiday periods or for longer courses.
We will work out an individual programme which meets each student’s personal interests and preferences.
Information
“The dedication of the Staff together with the varied activities on offer suited Daniel’s requirements. He is able to enjoy informative lessons in Computers and discussion groups on the world today, together with life skills lessons in Cookery and the more social activities of Drama and Music. Our son also makes Pottery and greeting cards which are then sold in the cafe or at local craft fairs where he and the other students are encouraged to mix with the local community. Scotts has given our son the chance to lead a fulfilling and useful life and to be part of a caring community whose enthusiastic staff are constantly looking at ways of improving the already excellent program of activities.
One of Scotts other strengths is the off site weekend activities that the students also have where they are encouraged to take part in community led events giving them further opportunities to mix and integrate with the local community”. Philip & Kim Smyth
